IT Support / Assistant (part time - 25 hrs per week)
£28k - £29.5k pro rata

Role purpose:
Proactive and customer-focused, this role is the first point of contact for technical support,ensuring smooth operations of our IT systems and providing exceptional service to staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for staff and stakeholders using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams,Office 365, VoIP telephone system, mobile phones/tablets, AV equipment and our in-house CRM Pyramid including troubleshooting common issues and escalating more complex problems to our ICT contractor's and line manager as required.
- Support the administration and basic configuration of the digital systems, ensuring user accounts and permissions/access rights are kept up-to-date and in line with current best practice for cyber security and wider digital infrastructure.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the organisations ICT equipment, network infrastructure & CCTV, reporting faults and liaising with our ICT contractors and line manager for resolution.
- Support our ICT contractor's external helpdesk to ensure IT problems are logged, tracked, and resolved promptly, maintaining good communication with users and stakeholders throughout.
- Assisting with staff onboarding process, set up new user accounts and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate and complete IT documentation such as equipment inventory,certification, guidelines explaining specific software and hardware processes.

Education and Qualifications:
- 8 GCES's - grades 6 to 9
- Diploma or degree in an Information Technology (IT) subject.
Experience:
- Experience of Windows 11, Office 365, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience of maintaining desktop PC's, laptops, mobile phones/tablets and networking infrastructure.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity including cyber essentials.
- Ability to manage own schedule, be proactive and balance competing and diverse priorities.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
