About the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Systems Support Officer to support housing and asset management systems within a local authority setting in Ealing. The role offers hybrid working, combining office-based and remote work as agreed with the service.
You will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, supporting compliance, improving data quality and producing accurate management information across housing and asset platforms.
A basic DBS check is required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day administration and specialist support for housing and asset systems
- Maintain accurate, reliable system data and ensure confidence in reporting outputs
- Analyse complex datasets, identify root causes of data issues, and implement corrective and preventative controls
- Diagnose incidents and work with ICT teams and external suppliers to resolve issues efficiently
- Produce reports and management information using Business Objects and Microsoft 365
- Prepare and maintain clear user guides, process maps and technical documentation
- Validate repair jobs and cost codes and support correct billing arrangements
- Maintain and update Schedules of Rates (SORs) in line with contractual requirements
- Support system configuration, integrations and upgrades
Strong practical knowledge of housing and asset management systems Working knowledge of compliance platforms such as True Compliance Proficiency in Business Objects and Microsoft 365 Proven experience analysing complex datasets and improving data quality Experience producing user guides, process maps and system documentation Ability to validate repair jobs, cost codes and maintain SORs Strong incident diagnosis and problem-solving skills Clear communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users
