Infrastructure Engineer - (Mac experience) BristolLocation: Bristol - 3 days per week in the officeSalary: £40,000-£50,000 + benefitsExceptional candidates: Up to £55,000Are you an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and getting involved in more than just the day-to-day IT environment I'm working with an exciting, growing technology business in Bristol that is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are necessarily the same and you're encouraged to get involved across different areas of technology.The ideal person will have experience in a start-up or scale-up environment and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll have the opportunity to work on infrastructure projects, contribute to the implementation of new technologies, improve existing systems and jump in to support colleagues and the wider business when needed.What you'll be doingManaging and supporting the company's infrastructure and end-user environmentGetting involved in the implementation and rollout of new infrastructure, systems and technologiesManaging and improving device environments and endpoint securityTroubleshooting hardware, software and infrastructure issuesSupporting and improving the company's MDM environmentWorking across both Mac and Windows environmentsContributing to IT projects and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with colleagues across the business and helping wherever your technical expertise is neededTaking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolutionWhat we're looking forYou'll ideally have:Solid experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or similarStrong experience supporting Mac environmentsExperience with MDM / endpoint managementSome experience working with Windows environmentsA good understanding of infrastructure, networking, security and cloud technologiesExperience implementing and rolling out new technologies or infrastructureA proactive, hands-on approach to problem solvingExperience in a start-up, scale-up or similarly fast-paced environment would be highly advantageousA willingness to wear multiple hats and get involved outside your immediate area of responsibilityThis would suit someone who gets bored doing the same thing every day and wants to work somewhere where they can make a real impact, take ownership and continue developing their technical skills.What's on offer?£40,000-£50,000 salary depending on experiencePotential to go up to £55,000 for an exceptional candidateHybrid working - 3 days per week in the Bristol office10% employer pension contributionPrivate healthcareLife assurance28 days' annual leave + bank holidaysExtended paternity leaveExcellent opportunities for career progressionThe opportunity to join a growing technology business where you can have genuine influenceIf you're a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer looking for a role with variety, responsibility and room to grow, I'd be keen to hear from you.Please apply with your CV or get in touch for a confidential conversation
