Role Impact:In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping systems that ensure the seamless operation of critical national infrastructure and customer services. You'll oversee the entire lifecycle-from design and build to commissioning and live operations-of advanced Building Management Systems (BMS), Central Monitoring platforms (CMS), and CCTV systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Architect and deliver next-generation BMS, CMS, and CCTV systems.Drive automation-first infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).Tackle complex platform challenges across compute, storage, and networking.Collaborate with engineers, architects, and operations teams to provide seamless end-to-end services.Enhance platform security, resilience, and performance at scale.Champion best practises in incident, change, and problem management.Create clear and reusable runbooks and engineering standards.Continuously improve infrastructure building and operations by introducing new ideas and technologies.

What You'll Need to Succeed:Essential Experience:

Proven ability to lead the full lifecycle of complex engineering or infrastructure systems.Strong technical knowledge of BMS, CMS, CCTV, or similar critical control environments.Experience in high-availability, mission-critical environments where resilience and security are paramount.Deep understanding of physical and system security principles, with skills in identifying and managing operational risks.Track record of driving automation and Infrastructure as Code to enhance operational performance.Ability to design and integrate complex, multi-vendor systems into scalable platforms.Strong communication skills to translate technical complexities into business value for stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management.Experience in regulated or customer-critical environments.Leadership or mentoring experience.

Security Clearance:Active DC clearance is essential.
