Position: Junior Project Manager Location: Hybrid (1-2 days a week onsite in Crewe - Wednesday preferred)Pay: PAYE: £34.85 / LTD Max: £40.46 Hours: 37 hours per week Contract End Date: 31/01/2026 (with a strong possibility of extension)

What You'll Do:

As a Junior Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the success of vehicle projects through software-related functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliverables Management: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. You'll be the go-to person for managing workload and resolving any concerns promptly!
  • Technical Guidance: Support the team with your developing technical knowledge, guiding them through integration management and configuration processes.
  • Strategic Direction: Assist in defining the technical roadmap and contribute to the strategic planning of software functions for new vehicle projects.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Foster effective communication within teams and represent our client in key technical meetings, ensuring all voices are heard.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative process improvements to enhance departmental capabilities.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: Familiarity with software planning and integration management within the automotive industry or a related field.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong skills in project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery while meeting quality standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of automotive processes, particularly PEP and integration releases.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent influencing and relationship-building abilities, with a passion for sharing knowledge and guiding others.
  • Education: A higher engineering degree or equivalent. Chartered Engineer status is a plus, or a desire to achieve it!
