About the Role -

In this position, you will manage the full life cycle of SharePoint site development - from requirements gathering and design through to deployment, optimisation, and support. You will also lead a small team of SharePoint developers, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices. The role brings significant influence over ECM strategy, with a focus on integrating Agile and DevSecOps approaches to support secure, scalable solutions across both web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of SharePoint Online sites, hubs, and content architectures.
  • Manage and mentor a team of SharePoint developers to deliver high-quality technical output.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Develop workflows, forms, and automation using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Drive continuous improvement in ECM practices including metadata management, content life cycle, and user adoption.
  • Provide technical leadership across ECM architecture, integration, and migration initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Maintain governance, compliance, and security standards across SharePoint environments.
  • Analyse user needs and translate them into detailed design documents.
  • Deliver practical solutions to business challenges and support internal customers.
  • Maintain documentation, training materials, and support guides for end users and administrators.

Ideal Candidate

You will bring deep SharePoint Online expertise, strong leadership capability, and the ability to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable enterprise solutions. A background in ECM, Power Platform, Agile, and DevSecOps practices will be highly beneficial.
