Job Title: Lead UI Developer / React

Contract: Initial 12-Month Contract with potential to extend.

Location: London

Rate: £800 inside umbrella

What You'll Do:

As the Lead UI Developer, you will spearhead the development of our flagship Triforce Credit Project. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge user interfaces that cater to front office e-trading applications. Your expertise will ensure that our software is not only highly functional but also delivers an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of front office e-trading applications with a focus on low latency and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our UI strategies.

What You Bring

  • Deep Expertise: A proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade front-office e-trading systems in high-pressure, real-time environments.
  • Technical Authority:
  • Languages: Exceptional command of JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to architect, optimise, and scale mission-critical applications.
  • Front-End Frameworks: Mastery of React and Redux, with extensive experience shaping robust UI architectures used in demanding trading workflows.
  • Back-End: Strong working knowledge of Java, capable of contributing effectively to full-stack solutions when required.
  • Industry Insight: A comprehensive understanding of the full trading lifecycle within investment banking, particularly across Fixed Income or FX, with the ability to navigate front-office workflows and trading system behaviours at a granular level.
