About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join a growing product development and manufacturing team specialising in innovative electronic and electro-mechanical products used within the entertainment and technology sectors worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, production, or testing who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Full product-specific training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and preparing products for dispatch while maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

You will be joining a close-knit, collaborative team that values attention to detail, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electronic and electro-mechanical products to a high standard
  • Carry out sub-assembly preparation tasks, including preparing and testing circuit boards and mechanical assemblies
  • Conduct functional and integration testing of products
  • Prepare products for extended soak testing where required
  • Complete final inspection, finishing, packaging, and preparation of finished goods
  • Maintain excellent quality standards and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure products are delivered on time and to specification
  • Help maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
  • Take ownership of products from assembly through to dispatch
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in an electronics assembly, manufacturing technician, production, or similar hands-on engineering environment
  • Relevant Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronic, or Engineering qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Confidence in assembling, manufacturing, and testing products to a high standard
  • Excellent manual dexterity and experience using a range of hand tools
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to accurately follow technical instructions, drawings, and design guidelines
  • Strong commitment to product quality and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of manufacturing test processes and production workflows
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues within a manufacturing environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Through-hole soldering experience and practical electronics knowledge
  • Experience repairing or fault-finding electro-mechanical products
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
  • Experience providing customer updates or technical feedback
  • Interest in lighting, video technology, or live entertainment systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality standards
  • Experience contributing to process improvements and manufacturing best practice
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when working to deadlines
