About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Content Manager to lead content creation and delivery across multiple brands and channels. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate our voice across diverse audiences, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. While experience in the higher education sector is a plus, we welcome candidates with strong multi-brand, multi-channel backgrounds from other industries.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy across multiple brands and platforms, aligning with overall marketing objectives.
  • Manage a content calendar, ensuring timely production and distribution of engaging content across web, social media, email, print, and other digital channels.
  • Lead content planning and campaign execution to support student recruitment, brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, digital, PR, and recruitment) to develop integrated marketing materials that meet audience needs.
  • Commission, edit, and write high-quality content (blogs, case studies, videos, guides, and reports) with strong SEO and user-experience considerations.
  • Ensure all content is consistent in tone, style, and brand messaging across various channels and audiences.
  • Analyse content performance using data and insights to inform future strategy and optimise engagement.
  • Oversee content governance, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and brand compliance across platforms.
  • Manage relationships with external content creators, agencies, and freelancers when required.


Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar content-focused marketing role.
  • Strong background in managing multi-brand and multi-channel content strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.
  • Comfortable working with data to measure content effectiveness and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholder needs.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • A working knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards, and digital content best practices.
  • Experience within the higher education sector is desirable but not essential.
