We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients. They are currently looking for a PMO Analyst - (CMS Project) to join them for an initial 6 month contract, however there may be scope for extension.

Role Purpose:

  • Supports the Project Manager in the delivery of the New Cash Management (CMS) project, ensuring effective execution of project activities and robust governance.
  • Operate both independently and under direction, managing multiple work items to support delivery of large-scale, complex transformation initiatives within Transaction Banking.
  • Provide strong administrative, coordination, and communication support, ensuring alignment across multi-disciplinary teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Act as a due-diligence and control function, providing effective challenge and validation of project information to enable high-quality decision-making.
  • Assist with project planning and control activities, including status tracking and progress reporting, RAID management, financial tracking and oversight, maintenance and quality assurance of core project artefacts.
  • Provide clear visibility to senior stakeholders and support project governance
  • Support PMO and project governance forums and undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required by TCMG.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Support Agile / hybrid delivery of the New CMS project, tracking delivery progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks across EMEA.
  • Maintain strong project governance and control, ensuring alignment with TCMG standards and TB programme governance, and providing effective due diligence, challenge, and validation of plans, data, and reporting.
  • Maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are actively managed and escalated.
  • Produce and contribute to timely, accurate project reporting, providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders.
  • Track and report project financials and resourcing, supporting forecasting, cost control, and effective planning.
  • Coordinate and support programme, project, and Agile delivery forums, including scheduling meetings and capturing clear actions, decisions, and follow-
  • Act as a key coordination point for US PMO, project managers, workstream leads, and cross functional stakeholders, supporting alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide operational PMO support, including resource onboarding/offboarding, maintenance of delivery artefacts, repository management (SharePoint / Confluence), and system processes.
  • Self-manage workload across competing priorities, supporting both project- and programme-level activities as required.
  • Contribute to ongoing PMO and Agile ways-of-working improvements, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and delivery assurance.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within financial services, in a project support, PMO, change delivery, or transformation
  • Experience supporting project or programme delivery within structured governance frameworks, ideally in Agile or hybrid delivery settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams while also operating effectively and independently.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organised, and analytical, with a natural curiosity and willingness to ask questions and challenge constructively.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse data and present information clearly.
  • Evidence of initiative and innovative thinking, with the ability to work constructively under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical and proactive, willing to take ownership and responsibility to ensure objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Strong time-management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple work items and meet deadlines under pressure.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in banking and finance, business, science, computer science, or another discipline that develops analytical capability, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Relevant project management or PMO qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, Agile fundamentals) desirable but not essential.

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 2-3 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
