- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6-month contract
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Working Hours: Between 8:00am - 6:00pm (Core hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm )
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Salary:
£18.00 per hour (PAYE)
About Our Client:
Our client is a global organisation within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of large-scale energy solutions. This opportunity is based at a key UK manufacturing site and offers the chance to contribute to innovative, sustainable projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL databases, dataflows, SharePoint)
- Build and maintain scalable data models
- Manage KPI scorecards to ensure consistency across the business
- Standardise reporting in line with design and data quality principles
- Maintain and improve existing reporting solutions
- Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective visualisations
- Support reporting frameworks and best practices
- Ensure data accuracy and performance
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong Power BI experience (DAX, reporting, data modelling)
- Experience with SQL, dataflows, Excel, APIs
- Understanding of ETL and data transformation
- Ability to design clear, user-friendly dashboards
- Strong attention to detail and data quality focus
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Experience maintaining KPI frameworks
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in large-scale or enterprise reporting environments
- Knowledge of reporting governance and standardisation
- Exposure to data visualisation best practices
