Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Development: Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards utilizing data from various sources, including SQL databases, dataflows, and SharePoint.
  • Data Modelling: Build and maintain robust data models to ensure scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
  • KPI Management: Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring consistency and alignment across all organizational levels.
  • Standardization: Ensure all reports adhere to standardization principles, maintaining consistency and following agreed design and data quality guidelines.
  • Monitoring: Monitor existing reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
  • Framework Development: Support the ongoing development of reporting frameworks and best practices.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Power BI Expertise: Strong experience in Power BI, including report development, DAX, and data modelling.
  • Data Source Proficiency: Experience working with multiple data sources such as SQL, dataflows, Excel, and APIs.
  • ETL Knowledge: Good understanding of data transformation and ETL processes.
  • Dashboard Design: Ability to create clear, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data quality and consistency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • KPI Framework Management: Experience managing KPI frameworks or scorecards is a plus.
