**Power Platform Developer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: London/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Overview


As a Power Platform Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and integrating applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain solutions that streamline our operations and improve decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven approach).
  • Integrate Power Apps applications with Azure services to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Work on API integrations to connect various applications and systems.
  • Assist in optimizing existing applications and processes for better user experience and efficiency.
  • Utilize Kofax or similar tools to enhance document processing and workflow automation.
  • Engage with Mendix or other Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) to support development efforts.
  • Write and optimize SQL scripts for data retrieval and manipulation in SQL/Oracle databases.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Power Apps development, with a strong proficiency in both Canvas and Model-driven approaches.
  • Working knowledge of integrating Power Apps with Azure services to enhance application performance.
  • Familiarity with HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) versions 9 to 12, and the ability to integrate with existing systems.
  • Power BI proficiency, with a strong ability to create and manage reports and dashboards.
  • API integration experience to connect various systems and improve application functionality.
  • Some knowledge of Kofax or similar tools for document automation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Mendix or other Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) to support rapid application development.
  • Strong understanding of SQL/Oracle databases, with experience in writing and optimizing SQL scripts.
  • Knowledge of AI & Copilot technologies and their application within business environments.
