Your Role:
As a PowerBI Developer, you will be responsible for the development and operation of robust Business Intelligence systems, ensuring quality outputs and adherence to governance standards. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming clinical and corporate data into actionable insights. Here's what you'll be doing:
Service Delivery:
- - Support efficient service delivery by providing trusted information for management decision-making.
- - Lead the development of the data warehouse reporting solution, focusing on data architecture and presentation layers using Microsoft SQL Server products.
- - Enhance analysis using a variety of data sources to generate insightful knowledge and share findings with the team.
- - Ensure that internal and external activity information meets required quality and governance standards.
Operational and Performance Management:
- - Oversee assigned systems, ensuring the correct processing, storage, and delivery of data to support high-quality activity information.
- - Contribute to the ongoing development of the Trust's information infrastructure.
- - Maintain and develop key information delivery systems through effective software Scripting and integration.
- - Create and maintain documentation including test plans, change control, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following experience and skills:
- Extensive experience managing complex information management development projects.
- Proven track record in automating the integration of disparate data sources.
- Background in information management within the NHS.
- 5-6 years of delivering BI and clinical systems solutions using Microsoft technology, particularly MS-SQL 2012 components (SSIS, T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS), Qlikview, or similar technologies.
- Strong documentation skills covering the full project life cycle, from design to testing.
- Experience in multi-system data extraction, storage, integration, and reporting.
- Demonstrated success as a Subject Matter Expert on large cross-functional projects, including the creation of technical specifications.
- 2-3 years of experience delivering statutory, commissioning, and internal reporting requirements.
