Position Details:
Contract Type: 12 monthsDaily Rate: £500 (via Umbrella Company)Location: Fully remote with occasional travel across the UK and IrelandDriving Required: Yes
Your Role: As a key member of the team, you will support the M&A Privacy Lead in executing activities aligned with the Global M&A Privacy Framework. Your expertise will shine as you:
- Lead Data Privacy Discovery: Assess target entities' privacy processes, identify compliance gaps, and enhance privacy practices.
- Execute Integration Planning: Develop and implement integration plans to incorporate effective privacy practices.
- Align Processes: Remediate processes to meet the organization's Data Privacy Framework requirements.
- Engage Collaboratively: Work closely with diverse teams to deliver activities needed for compliance with the Global M&A Privacy Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Privacy Risk Management: Identify and manage privacy risks throughout the M&A lifecycle.
- Develop Privacy M&A Playbooks: Create playbooks to systematically manage privacy risks.
- Conduct Privacy Due Diligence: Perform thorough assessments of target entities.
- Create Privacy Integration Plans: Ensure seamless integration of privacy practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, and more to keep everyone informed.
- Training & Awareness: Assist in developing training programs on privacy and data protection.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Proven experience in operational or privacy consulting, specifically in financial settings.
- Privacy Qualifications: Certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM are preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with UK and EU data protection laws, including GDPR, PECR, and UK DPA.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to present, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
