Daily Rate: £400 - £500 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Hybrid Working - 3 days pw in BELFAST is essential
Are you an experienced Risk and Controls Specialist looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as a Risk and Control Lead within the Markets division. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement HCR risk and control frameworks tailored to the Markets business.
Conduct Inherent Risk assessments, ensuring alignment with firm-wide standards.
analyse Manager Control Assessments (MCA) data to identify deficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders for remediation.
standardise HCR controls and monitoring processes to ensure effective execution across the Markets division.
Engage with various stakeholders to understand risks and necessary controls, driving successful implementation.
Streamline HCR reporting by identifying diverse data sources and assessing methodologies for continuous improvement.
Key Skills Required:
5-10 years of experience in a first line of defence (1LoD) risk and control role.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Strong grasp of operational risk management frameworks and risk/control assessments.
Proven capability to translate business insights into robust risk and control strategies.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a knack for collaboration.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to lead process optimisation initiatives.
