Location: Belfast (3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Liaise with front office contacts and establish solid relationships with internal partners across the organisation. Your ability to influence and manage these relationships will be critical to your success.
- Process optimisation: Proactively identify opportunities to optimise and streamline processes. You will propose solutions and lead the implementation of improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risks when business decisions are made, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and the safeguarding of assets. Your role will include driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various business units across Markets to deliver on organisational objectives. Your collaborative spirit will help drive collective success.
- Control Monitoring: Be part of a global team responsible for monitoring controls, providing oversight, and escalating issues in a timely manner, ensuring that all controls are functioning as intended.
- Communication Development: Develop communication and presentation materials for a diverse audience, including stakeholders, peers, and management. Your strong communication skills will be vital in conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- You possess relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls, showcasing your expertise in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred. Your analytical skills will be essential for effective reporting and presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary to navigate complex situations and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills, are essential for engaging with various stakeholders.
- You enjoy working as part of a high-performing team and contributing to a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of global markets traded products, including downstream processing practises and related control principles, is a positive asset.
