Job Description: Sales Operations Associate FTC
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Remuneration: £57.25 Per Hour
Role Overview
As a Sales Operations Associate, you will lead and manage key components of operational and analytical projects with limited guidance. You will define problem statements, navigate ambiguity, optimise processes, and partner with cross‐functional teams to deliver business-impacting insights and operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Delivery
- Define project scopes and problem statements aligned to business objectives.
- Build project plans including timelines, workstreams, and resourcing needs.
- Deliver assigned project components with high quality and within deadlines.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify and engage key stakeholders; understand their priorities and challenges.
- Build strong relationships and challenge stakeholders constructively to drive better outcomes.
- Partner cross‐functionally to develop business solutions and operational strategies.
Business & Market Insights
- Develop a working understanding of products, business areas, and industry ecosystems.
- Analyse customer behaviour, competitive trends, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Make informed recommendations based on industry knowledge and business objectives.
Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to business cadence planning (governance, reporting frameworks, operational rhythms).
- Support the scaling of operational processes across regions or teams.
Data Analysis & Strategic Insights
- Form hypotheses and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to test them.
- Navigate data-quality issues and implement improvements where needed.
- Translate analysis into actionable insights and structured recommendations for leadership.
- Define, track, and report key metrics aligned to business objectives.
Strategic Planning & Activation
- Conduct strategic assessments of business opportunities or challenges.
- Evaluate solution options and recommend a clear way forward.
- Contribute to sales and product activation strategies to meet business goals.
- Support the development of business cases and strategic narratives.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
- Identify collaboration opportunities to enhance business outcomes.
- Work closely with analyst teams on deep dives to generate insights and recommendations.
- Support operational workflows across budgeting, headcount management, compensation, and sales incentives.
Top Daily Responsibilities
- Own critical operations such as revenue reporting, sales bonus compensation, target setting, and headcount/budget management.
- Manage processes supporting sales teams, including incentives deployment, compensation workflows, and business planning cycles.
- Drive analytical workstreams and develop resource allocation models across countries, channels, and products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience with analytical or financial analysis.
- Strong experience working with data, including SQL.
- Knowledge of digital advertising or media industries, OR experience in consulting, investment banking, product strategy, media strategy, or data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, databases, and workflow automation.
- Proven experience in business planning, reporting, governance, or finance operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and bring clarity to ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into business insights.
