Senior 5G RAN Performance Engineer

Our client, a leading telecommunications organisation is looking for an experienced Senior 5G RAN Performance Engineer to support a major mobile network programme.

This role will focus on the performance and optimisation of 5G networks, with particular emphasis on 5G SA, VoNR, KPI analysis, OSS platforms and network performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise 5G network performance across live network environments.
• Monitor and improve accessibility, retainability, mobility, integrity and throughput KPIs.
• Investigate performance trends and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Support VoNR and 5G SA performance activities.
• Perform parameter optimisation and feature tuning.
• Work closely with Ericsson and Nokia network environments.
• Deliver recommendations to enhance customer experience and network quality.

Experience Required

• Strong 5G RAN Performance and Optimisation experience.
• Hands-on experience with 5G SA and VoNR.
• Experience using Ericsson ENM, Nokia NetAct or similar OSS tools.
• Strong KPI analysis and performance reporting skills.
• Proven experience delivering network performance improvements.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
