Senior DEVOPS Engineer Contract Dublin 6-18 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced DEVOPS Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

As part of my client infrastructure team, you will participate in a high-quality, customer-focused engineering culture with an emphasis on security and resiliency. You will have multiple opportunities to make a large impact on the evolution of next-generation Cloud services for my client and explore an extensive list of new technologies that will benefit our customers globally. My clients team is building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud platforms that support the next generation of digital financial applications. We're looking for a Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure to help build and support our cloud-native environments.

You will be expected top design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure in AWS to support business-critical applications with high availability and security requirements.Partner with other software engineers, SREs, and security teams to implement automation around deployment, observability, and compliance. You will identify opportunities to eliminate toil and automate the triage of issues to improve overall operational stability
Champion DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls into the platform lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have around 7+ years of commercial experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, including 3+ years of direct experience with AWS. Proven experience designing production-grade cloud infrastructure in regulated environments. Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, identity and access management, and governance within AWS.Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Shell). You will have Experience with continuous integration/delivery pipelines and GitOps workflows. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Experience with multi-account cloud architecture, landing zones, or control tower setups.Familiarity with zero-trust architecture, data encryption, and key management systems (KMS). Strong proficiency with using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to build cloud infrastructure solutions and automating cloud deployments.
