Job title: Senior Power BI / SQL Developer

Location: London (2/3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 8 months with possible extension

Rate: £650 - £700 inside IR35

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced DWH Developer to design, develop and support a Front Office Supervision Dashboard and related reporting solutions. You will be responsible for building data-driven dashboards, workflow solutions and management information reporting to support supervisory oversight, auditability and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards, reports and KPIs using Power BI.
• Build workflow-driven applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Develop and optimise SQL Server 2022 database objects, views, stored procedures and ETL processes.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems into a central reporting platform.
• Create supervisory dashboards, alerts, trend analysis and management information reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, BA teams and SMEs to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support UAT, defect resolution and production releases.
• Ensure solutions are well documented, scalable and aligned with governance and audit requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SQL Server 2022 (T-SQL, stored procedures, views and performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience developing solutions in Power BI.
• Experience building applications and workflows using Power Apps.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting best practices.
• Strong stakeholder communication and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Desirable

• Experience within financial services or regulatory reporting environments.
• Knowledge of Power Automate.
• Experience with supervisory, risk, compliance or control-related reporting solutions.
