Snr Business Analyst / Project Manager - ITT and Procurement
Location: London, Bristol or Manchester - hybrid working (travel to site required twice monthly)?? Duration: 6 months initially? Clearance Required: BPSS? Rate: £600 - £650 daily (Inside IR35)
About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead strategic initiatives within a high-impact digital transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of government change, driving service improvement and innovation across multiple projects.
You'll be responsible for shaping business analysis practices, mentoring others, and managing stakeholder relationships across departments. The role involves working in agile environments, contributing to service design, and supporting procurement and supplier engagement processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing and new services
- Analyse complex data to produce actionable insights and recommendations
- Define and manage business requirements across high-complexity change initiatives
- Model business processes and contribute to target operating models
- Collaborate with delivery teams to scope MVPs and visualise outcomes
- Support supplier selection and procurement processes
- Champion user needs and collaborate with user researchers
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to communities of practice
- 5+ years in Business Analysis or Project Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and process improvement
- Agile delivery experience
- Supplier and procurement management
- Analytical mindset with experience in data visualisation (PowerBI desirable)
- Awareness of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
- Experience in government or public sector programmes
- Business Analysis or Project Management certifications
- Experience in change and adoption phases of delivery
