Job Description – Sales Solutions Consultant

Location: London, UK (Hybrid – Tue–Thu onsite; Mon & Fri remote)

Duration: 12 months (2 Feb 2026 – mid‐March 2027)

Remuneration: £44.23 Hourly Rate

Role Overview

As a Sales Solutions Consultant , you will act as a strategic partner to sales leadership, industry heads, and key clients. You will leverage deep industry understanding, data‐driven insights, and strong sales acumen to influence client conversations, help shape sales strategies, and accelerate business growth.

This role requires a combination of strategic storytelling, analytical capability, cross‐functional collaboration, and client consulting expertise. You will contribute to sales strategy development, deliver scaled pitches, shape client thought leadership, and build relationships that drive long‐term revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership Support

  • Facilitate discussions with industry heads and sales leadership to develop high‐level sales strategies and plans.
  • Provide subject‐matter expertise on client and partner strategies, spanning sales, marketing, and/or product development.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights that influence business decisions across teams.

Thought Leadership & Point‐of‐View Development

  • Develop vertical‐specific Points of View (POVs) on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes.
  • Present POVs to internal teams and/or client stakeholders to shape strategic conversations.
  • Drive the creation of analytical insights for industry conferences, events, and thought‐leadership forums.

Client Consulting & Joint Business Planning

  • Act as a consultant to one or more key client/partner leadership teams.
  • Develop and review Joint Business Plans (JBPs), providing analytical, measurement‐based, and practical recommendations.
  • Use analytical insights to align Google's products and solutions to client objectives.

Data Analysis, Insights & Modelling

  • Develop and own analytical models for key client/partner initiatives, applying or customising dashboards and frameworks.
  • Build advanced dashboards to synthesise and present vertical data to clients/partners.
  • Analyse client, industry, and consumer behaviours to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate ambiguous or complex business challenges into structured analytical solutions.

Research, Consumer Insights & Trend Analysis

  • Lead scoping and research initiatives for verticals, leveraging vendors, third‐party tools, and survey methods.
  • Manage research budgets, approvals, and legal processes.
  • Develop insights from consumer research to shape narratives and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with product specialists, sales teams, marketing, and partner functions to:
  • Drive growth with new and existing clients/partners.
  • Identify business opportunities.
  • Develop go‐to‐market (GTM) pitches and collateral.

Strategic Storytelling & Scalable Narratives

  • Develop scalable stories and sales narratives that elevate client conversations across the vertical.
  • Advocate best‐in‐class storytelling, visualisation, and narrative frameworks.
  • Create compelling, data‐grounded presentations that communicate insights, trends, and value propositions.
