About the Role
We're looking for a data-driven Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our UK Import & Export team based in Peterborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys turning data into actionable insights and using technology to improve business performance. While the role supports day-to-day import and export operations, the primary focus is on analysing data, optimising processes, and driving efficiencies through SAP, Excel, reporting tools, and automation.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, improve data quality, and support operational decision-making through meaningful reporting and analysis.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analysing supply chain and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Using SAP and Excel to support operational planning and business decision-making.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements that reduce manual activity and increase efficiency.
- Supporting automation initiatives and system enhancements.
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reporting consistency across the supply chain.
- Running and maintaining key supply chain processes and controls.
- Collaborating with operational, planning, logistics, and finance teams to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in data analysis ideally within a supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, including analysing and manipulating large datasets.
- SAP experience
- Experience creating reports and performance insights.
- A process improvement mindset with a passion for driving efficiencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.
