What You'll Do:

As a Technical Architect, you'll play a vital role in the delivery of network architecture. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tailoring standard designs to meet project needs, ensuring successful integration of IT systems onto shared networks.
  • Collaborating with construction project managers and technology specialists to deliver exceptional services in government buildings.
  • Overseeing supplier delivery throughout the project life cycle and assuring compliance with established standards.
  • Facilitating network handovers and providing early-life support during the transition to IT support partners.
  • Supporting problem-solving and technical incident resolution for live services.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to communicate network concepts clearly and effectively.

What We're Looking For:

We're in search of resourceful individuals who possess:

  • A robust background in IT Infrastructure with proven experience in network implementation.
  • Strong expertise in Wi-Fi implementation and integrating IT systems onto a network.
  • Experience in multi-tenant network and IT infrastructure delivery, particularly in new build and refurbishment construction projects.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Network Architect.
  • Proven track record in delivering large Wi-Fi networks in multi-tenant buildings.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Firewalls.

Desirable Criteria:

  • CCNA or similar qualifications.
  • CWNA or similar wireless network experience in multi-tenancy environments.
  • Meraki certifications: ECMS1 and/or ECMS2.
