This role will play a key part in translating business requirements into technology solutions, working across data, architecture, and delivery teams to support regulatory and operational change initiatives.

The RoleAs a Technical Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and data specialists to define requirements, analyse data flows, and support the successful delivery of financial crime technology solutions.

You will contribute to the full project lifecycle, from discovery and analysis through to implementation and testing, ensuring solutions meet both business objectives and regulatory expectations.

Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business and technical requirementsWork with stakeholders to understand current and future-state processesAnalyse and document data lineage, data flows, and system interactionsSupport requirements traceability from business need through to technical deliveryCollaborate with architecture, engineering, and data teams to define solutionsProduce process maps, functional specifications, and supporting documentationConduct gap analysis and impact assessmentsSupport testing activities, including UAT and defect managementContribute to regulatory and financial crime change initiativesHelp ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreamsSkills & ExperienceWe're interested in professionals who can demonstrate: Experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or other regulated environmentsStrong understanding of data analysis, data mapping, and data lineage conceptsExperience working alongside technology, architecture, and engineering teamsAbility to translate business requirements into clear technical specificationsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience producing high-quality analysis and documentationKnowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologiesAbility to manage competing priorities within complex programmesDesirable ExperienceFinancial Crime, AML, Fraud, Transaction Monitoring, or Compliance-related projectsFinancial Crime Analytics programmesData governance or data management initiativesCapital Markets environmentsQuantexa or similar analytics platformsRegulatory change and remediation programmesWhat's ImportantWe're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across both business and technical teams.
