Technical Business Analyst

My client is seeking to recruit a Technical Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a Financial Services client based in London. It is hybrid and will require 3x days onsite per week.

Improving efficiency and productivity by streamlining processes and optimizing systems. The role is crucial for ensuring alignment between business and Technical teams by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and proposing solutions. Also involves identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.

Duties:

• This role may involve working on some C# development tasks within a C# developer group
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• This role must communicate within a multi-disciplinary team, gain consensus for the best solution, and implement the required changes within the required timeframe, budget and quality parameters. The individual will ensure that the business case, plans, and control processes have sufficient detail and have evaluated the potential impact of the changes made, including a traceability matrix (if relevant), and will involve the appropriate staff or teams during the QA, testing and delivery of changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews.
• Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading the investigations and detailed analysis of incidents and process exceptions including a strategic approach to root cause analysis
