Our client is seeking a Technical Lead (Database) to drive innovation and excellence in database management.

Role Purpose: As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in analysing, planning, and managing IT implementations in line with strategic objectives. You will provide expert advice on force data and lead future database requirements, ensuring that our client meets the needs of the organisation effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and management of database solutions.Monitor and control requests for new work, maintaining high quality and standards.Ensure adherence to incident, problem, and change management procedures while accelerating service delivery.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Oversee IT security remediation actions and contribute to budget management.Advocate for a positive, can-do culture within the team.

What You Bring:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 - 2022) and Oracle (11G - 19C) including scripts, backups, and restores.Proficiency in data migration and mapping.Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with High Availability and Replication.ITIL Foundation knowledge.Experience working with suppliers and contractors.
