Location: Hybrid Working - London 3 days pw and remote 2 days

Daily Rate: Up to £364 (inside IR35 via umbrella)

Are you a skilled Technical Writer with a knack for transforming complex information into clear, concise documentation? Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team on a contract basis, producing high-quality technical documentation that enhances understanding and facilitates seamless experiences for users.
Purpose of the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating well-structured documentation for various applications. This includes user manuals, requirement documents, and explanations of key business and technical terminologies. You will work closely with development teams to produce documentation that supports project materials, ultimately improving overall documentation quality and fostering effective collaboration.
Main Duties:
Produce comprehensive technical documents for applications developed by the team, ensuring alignment with business requirements, application architectures, and UI design concepts.
Create and update documentation throughout the software development life cycle, including business specifications, technical specifications, test support manuals, and system operation manuals.
analyse application logic to create documentation that is easy to understand, ensuring it remains up to date and relevant.
Guide the development team in understanding Change Management Control procedures and facilitate the approval process for updates in production systems.
Compile various documents for both internal and external use, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Facilitate training sessions for developers, familiarising them with existing applications and business processes.
Supervise applications to verify that functions operate as documented, making necessary amendments to documentation.
Maintain open communication with relevant support teams, building positive relationships to enhance documentation effectiveness.
Participate in meetings to improve documentation capabilities and ensure adherence to required standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment and C#.
Strong understanding of programming practises and policies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships.
Proficiency in documentation tools and methodologies.
