Location: E14. Contract Type: Temporary. Contract Length: 12 months. Hybrid
Daily Rate: £348 per day PAYE

As a Trade Desk Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and understanding the physical and financial positions within the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system. This position offers a unique chance to be part of a collaborative team that drives innovation and continuous improvement in trading processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely updates to the trading capture system throughout the lifecycle of each deal.
• Conduct daily analysis and reporting of earnings, exposure, and mark-to-market to assess and explain business performance.
• Collaborate closely with team members across trading, finance, risk control, and operations to manage and interpret commodity earnings and exposure.
• Work as part of global teams to identify and implement process improvements through innovative digital solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven ability to achieve results through ethical practises.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Strong time management and prioritisation capabilities.
• An analytical and innovative thinker with the ability to leverage technology for solutions and efficiencies.

Advantageous Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Power BI.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
• Understanding of commodity trading terminology.
• Experience with Trade Capture systems, especially SolArc RightAngle.
