User Experience Researcher

Job Title: UX Researcher

Location: London (Hybrid – Tues–Thurs onsite)

Contract: July 2026 – June 2027

Pay Rate: £55.77 per hour

About the Role

Our Client are looking for an experienced UX Researcher to join a high-performing team working on complex, large-scale digital products. This role will play a key part in shaping product strategy through user-focused insights, helping drive impactful, data-led decisions across cross-functional teams.

You will lead moderately complex research initiatives with minimal oversight and act as a trusted partner to product, design, and engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity to influence product direction while championing user-centric and inclusive design practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute qualitative and quantitative UX research to inform product and business strategy
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve user experience and product performance
  • Communicate research findings clearly to stakeholders, influencing decision-making at all levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing) to embed user-centric thinking
  • Design and implement research frameworks, surveys, and testing methodologies
  • Analyse user behaviour, product performance, and market trends to guide strategic direction
  • Advocate for inclusive design and ethical research practices
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and proactively address challenges that may impact delivery

Requirements

  • UX research experience
  • Strong experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
  • Proven ability to translate research into clear insights and strategic recommendations
  • Experience working across the full product development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of user behaviour and human-centred design principles
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Experience with tools such as dScout, Qualtrics, UserZoom (or similar)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • UX storytelling and presentation skills
