VMware Specialist - 6-Month Contract - Essex (Hybrid) - Inside IR35

My client, a leading telecoms provider, is seeking an experienced VMware Specialist to lead the upgrade of their VMware Horizon environment to the latest Omnissa Horizon version.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and upgrade VMware Horizon, including ESXi and vCenter components
• Update VDI clients to Windows 11 with the latest Microsoft Office
• Optimise and configure AppVolumes and DEM
• Apply CIS Level 2 hardening across the environment
• Deliver full documentation, training, and handover

Required Skills:

• VMware Horizon (AppVolumes, DEM)
• ESXi and vCenter upgrade experience
• Windows 11 VDI and Microsoft Office deployment
• CIS Level 2 hardening (VMware, Windows, Office)
• Experience in offline/secure environments
• Strong documentation and project execution skills
