Key Responsibilities

  • Plan & Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to assess hardware readiness and define upgrade paths.
  • Lead Deployment: Coordinate pilot testing and phased rollout of Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum scalability.
  • Project Engagement: Actively participate in migration-related meetings, working alongside project managers, service providers, and technical leads.
  • Checklist Development: Build and maintain a detailed migration checklist covering backups, deployment sequences, rollback protocols and compliance.
  • Compatibility Testing: Validate software and application compatibility through testing and vendor engagement.
  • Advanced Support: Provide 3rd line escalation support during migration phases, resolving complex platform-specific issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track post-migration device health using analytics to drive continuous optimisation.
  • Progress Reporting: Document and report migration progress across sites using dashboards and field input.
  • User Feedback: Gather insights from call centre agents to ensure usability and workflow alignment post-migration.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience delivering IT migration projects, ideally involving Windows operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Active Directory.
  • Clear and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
