Project Accountant - ERP lead

Opportunity for a Project Accountant to take on the finance lead for a new ERP implementation - initial contract circa 12 - 18 months with the potential to extend further.

This manufacturing company has been trading for over 30 years and now part of an international group. As part of their growth strategy, they're implementing a new ERP system which is set to deliver a host of benefits to the business and enhance their controls and ultimately profitability. This role is intrinsic in making that happen! As key conduit between finance, operations and supply chain your remit will include:

Understand and map existing processes, identifying master data etc

Support the defining of new processes in line with the ERP, challenging the status quo where appropriate

Support ERP testing and training working closely with the project team

This project will be transformational for the business - this is your chance to take a lead role in it, and the culture of the organisation means that you'll be positively supported by all internal stakeholders. To be considered you'll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid experience in manufacturing and prior input to an ERP implementation or upgrade. You'll be a confident communicator, proven in bringing people together, and have a logical approach with the ability to proactively manage project timelines.
