Senior Account Director
Adele Carr is recruiting a key relationship management role to take ownership of a portfolio of high value lender clients and play a vital role in driving long term account growth, retention and strategic partnership of current existing major accounts. This is working with a Professional Services business that provide a unique product set which connects lenders, legal businesses and customers together in one digitalised product platform.
This will be a home based role with travel to North West head office location occasionally. There may also be UK travel for customer meetings throughout the duration of the role.
This is a senior account director role which is client facing and you'll act as a trusted advisor to lenders, lead strategic account planning, identify new commercial opportunities, and ensure the business is positioned as a long-term partner rather than a supplier. You'll also lead and develop a team of Account Directors, setting the standard for client engagement and performance.
It would be beneficial if you understand regulated environments, such as Financial Services, Insurance or Legal and will be used to working with complex polices and governance. You will be passionate about building relationships and beable to manage complex stakeholders at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and oversee key lender accounts, ensuring strong relationships, high retention and sustainable growth
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients, including engagement at exec and board level
- Develop and deliver strategic account plans aligned to client objectives and commercial targets
- Identify and develop new income streams within existing accounts, agreed in advance with senior leadership
- Lead quarterly and monthly client review meetings, presenting insights, performance and future opportunities
- Coordinate the implementation of new products and services across accounts
- Support proposals, tenders and contract renewals
- Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Marketing, Compliance and Customer Service
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market changes, feeding insight back into the business
- Proven experience in a senior account management or client director role, managing large or complex accounts
- Strong background in financial services, professional services, SaaS or a regulated B2B environment
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and building long-term strategic partnerships
- Commercially minded with a track record of identifying and delivering account growth
- Confident leading teams and influencing across a matrix organisation
- Comfortable presenting, negotiating and contributing at senior level
- Experience working with lenders or financial services clients
- Exposure to tenders, SLAs, contract renewals and governance processes
- Degree in business, marketing or a relevant professional qualification
- Senior, visible role with real influence across key lender accounts
