Engineering Manager | Start-up | Java & Vue.js | 20 % hands on

About the Role

I am looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of engineers delivering scalable, cloud-native software solutions. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic delivery, ensuring the engineering team continues to build a high-quality product while maintaining best practices in architecture, performance, and security.

You will work closely with Product, Architecture, and DevOps to drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and deliver impactful software at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
• Drive the technical vision and architecture for scalable, cloud-based systems
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment
• Ensure engineering best practices
• Manage delivery timelines, technical risks, and team performance
• Support hiring, onboarding, and career development of engineers
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What I'm Looking For

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead
• Strong background in Java, Vue.js & AWS
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems
• Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
