SET ARCHITECT | 100% Automation | Hybrid

I am looking for a SET Architect to design and lead the next generation of automated quality engineering for a local product house.

The Role

The SET Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall test architecture, automation strategy, and quality engineering standards across the platform. This is a senior technical leadership role that combines hands-on engineering with strategic direction.

You will work closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the platform remains scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end quality engineering strategy across the platform.
  • Architect and implement scalable automated testing frameworks for microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and applications.
  • Embed quality practices into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and rapid delivery.
  • Lead the adoption of modern testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build testable architectures and quality-first development practices.
  • Establish metrics, observability, and reporting for test coverage, reliability, and platform quality.
  • Mentor engineers and testers in automation, tooling, and quality engineering best practices.

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience as an (SET/SDET) or QA Architect.
  • Proven experience building test automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience designing test strategies for microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of performance, security, and reliability testing.
  • Experience working in Agile engineering environments.
