Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity / Managed Services)

OTE £75,000 | £30,000–£38,000 Base | Brentwood (On-site)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, cutting-edge technology business in the cybersecurity and managed services space, looking to hire a highly driven Business Development Representative to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who wants to build a long-term career in enterprise technology sales, working with market-leading security solutions and gaining exposure to Microsoft’s security ecosystem.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in driving new business across a portfolio of advanced cybersecurity solutions, including SIEM, Managed Detection & Response, and 24/7 SOC services.

This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in technology.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Proactively identifying and generating new sales opportunities
  • Building and managing a pipeline of prospects within IT and cybersecurity
  • Engaging with decision-makers to understand business challenges and security needs
  • Conducting discovery calls and supporting product demonstrations
  • Collaborating with technical sales consultants to progress and close deals
  • Using CRM tools (HubSpot) to track activity and manage leads
  • Supporting proposal writing and outbound campaigns
  • Contributing ideas to improve sales processes and client engagement
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role
  • A confident, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • A hunter mentality – comfortable making high-volume outbound calls (75+ per day)
  • Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
  • A strong interest in technology and cybersecurity
  • Willingness to learn and develop into a high-performing sales professional

Highly desirable:

  • Experience selling within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) or MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) environment
