Business Development Representative
OTE £75,000 | £30,000–£38,000 Base | Brentwood (On-site)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, cutting-edge technology business in the cybersecurity and managed services space, looking to hire a highly driven Business Development Representative to join their expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who wants to build a long-term career in enterprise technology sales, working with market-leading security solutions and gaining exposure to Microsoft’s security ecosystem.
The OpportunityYou’ll play a key role in driving new business across a portfolio of advanced cybersecurity solutions, including SIEM, Managed Detection & Response, and 24/7 SOC services.
This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in technology.
What You’ll Be Doing- Proactively identifying and generating new sales opportunities
- Building and managing a pipeline of prospects within IT and cybersecurity
- Engaging with decision-makers to understand business challenges and security needs
- Conducting discovery calls and supporting product demonstrations
- Collaborating with technical sales consultants to progress and close deals
- Using CRM tools (HubSpot) to track activity and manage leads
- Supporting proposal writing and outbound campaigns
- Contributing ideas to improve sales processes and client engagement
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role
- A confident, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- A hunter mentality – comfortable making high-volume outbound calls (75+ per day)
- Highly motivated, organised, and proactive
- A strong interest in technology and cybersecurity
- Willingness to learn and develop into a high-performing sales professional
Highly desirable:
- Experience selling within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) or MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) environment
- £30,000 – £38,000 base salary
- £75,000 OTE with uncapped commission
