Sales Director – IT Solutions | £80,000 – £100,000 + Uncapped Commission | London
Are you a senior sales professional with a proven track record in winning enterprise clients? We are looking for a Sales Director – IT Solutions to join a fast-growing technology company specialising in custom software, cloud solutions, data engineering, and managed IT services.
This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role for a self-motivated sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building long-term client relationships across the UK and Europe.
What you’ll doMarket Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting enterprise clients across sectors including BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, and Technology.
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and forums.
- Provide strategic insights on market trends, client needs, and competitor activity.
New Business & Pipeline Management
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with mid-sized and large enterprises.
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline to drive predictable revenue growth.
- Leverage existing C-level relationships and develop new executive connections.
Sales Execution & Deal Closure
- Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from prospecting to solutioning, proposals, pricing, and negotiation.
- Close complex, multi-service IT deals, often mid-six to seven-figure in value.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client business objectives.
Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design client-centric solutions.
- Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams to maintain client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor junior sales or business development staff as the UK and EU sales team grows.
- Share best practices and contribute to sales process improvements.
Performance & Results
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- 15+ years’ experience in B2B IT services sales, including 7+ years in a new business/hunter role.
- Proven track record of winning new logos and closing complex IT deals (software, cloud, data).
- Strong network within UK enterprise and mid-market sectors.
- Deep understanding of onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with global delivery and pre-sales teams.
- Degree in Business, Technology, or Engineering (MBA desirable).
- Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel across the UK and Europe.
Salary & Benefits
£80,000 – £100,000 base + uncapped commission
