C# Software Engineering Manager – Manchester (Hybrid)

On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in Manchester City Centre, we are recruiting for a C# Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented development team working on a range of exciting and complex projects — from scalable cloud platforms to high-impact business and consumer applications.

As C# Software Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of C#/.NET developers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Architect and design modern software solutions, primarily on the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET Core, Azure)
• Drive software engineering best practices, continuous improvement, and agile delivery
• Take technical ownership of cloud application development for SME and enterprise clients

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong technical background in .NET / .NET Core, C#, MVC, SQL Server / Azure SQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams, ideally in an Agile environment
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on involvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A passion for clean code, scalable architecture, and delivering real business value
