Experience Designer (XD) - Manchester - £35-45K

My client is seeking a creative and strategic Experience Designer (XD) to shape seamless, engaging, and meaningful interactions between people and products, services, or environments. This role goes beyond traditional UX, taking a holistic view of the customer journey - from usability and storytelling to emotions and brand identity.

What you’ll do

• Research & Discovery: Understand users through interviews, surveys, and journey mapping to uncover pain points and opportunities.
• Strategy & Conceptualisation: Define the vision for end-to-end experiences that align with business goals and brand values.
• Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups across both digital (apps, websites, interfaces) and physical (retail, events, products) experiences.
• Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, and marketers to bring ideas to life.
• Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing, gather insights, and refine designs to deliver impactful user experiences.

• A background in experience design, UX, or service design.
• Strong skills in research, prototyping, and storytelling.
