Our client based in Sheffield is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to help shape and support their global IT infrastructure. You’ll work on high-impact projects, deploy advanced security solutions, and provide Tier 2/3 operational support, keeping systems secure, efficient, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network issues, ensuring incidents are resolved within SLAs.
• Design, configure and optimise Cisco-focused infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support Fortinet security and SD-WAN solutions, plus Zscaler deployments.
• Monitor and report on network/cloud performance, making proactive improvements.
• Document changes, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects and standardisation initiatives.

About You

• Cisco certified (CCNA minimum).
• Proven experience in network engineering within a multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet technologies (essential).
• Experience with Zscaler, Azure and monitoring tools (desirable).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
