Senior Product Designer (UX) - Manchester - £60-70K

Our client based in Manchester is currently seeking a Senior Product Designer with strong UX expertise to shape intuitive, impactful digital experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Support Discovery & Strategy – framing problems, testing ideas, and guiding your squad toward validated solutions.
• Design Holistic Experiences – owning the end-to-end user journey, ensuring our products deliver real value and feel effortless to use.
• Conduct & Guide UX Research – planning and running user interviews, usability testing, and embedding insights into every design decision.
• Facilitate Collaboration – leading workshops and design sprints to align stakeholders and accelerate discovery.
• Balance Business & User Needs – creating solutions that are desirable, feasible, and commercially viable.
• Elevate Design Quality – raising the standard for design craft and UX thinking across your squad and the wider community.
• Champion Design Systems & Accessibility – ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Foster Discovery Culture – encouraging rapid experimentation, user engagement, and continuous learning.

About You

You are a passionate, discovery-led designer with significant experience in large, regulated organisations. You bring:

• Depth in UX and product design, with breadth across service design, user research, content design, design systems, or strategy.
• The ability to inspire and deliver innovative solutions through cross-functional teamwork.
• A strong grasp of interaction design, user behaviour, and usability principles.
• Commitment to inclusive UX design and accessibility from the start.
• Proficiency in Figma and confidence with design systems.
• Hands-on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and UX evaluation methods.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, product discovery, experimentation, and agile product development.
