System Engineer

Role Summary
We are seeking an Early Career Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Requirements Management and
Verification and Validation (V&V) to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and engineering programmes.
The role applies systems engineering principles across the project lifecycle, with particular emphasis on defining,
managing, and tracing requirements, and supporting the planning and coordination of V&V activities to
demonstrate compliance.
You will work as part of client delivery teams, supported by senior engineers, contributing to clear, wellstructured engineering outputs while continuing to develop your systems engineering capability.
This role is ideally suited to an engineer with around 2-5 years' professional experience who is ready to take the
next step in their systems engineering career. You'll already be comfortable taking ownership of your work,
working directly with clients, and applying systems engineering principles in practice, while continuing to develop
your technical and consultancy skills.
Key Responsibilities
Apply systems engineering principles to support delivery across the project lifecycle, from early definition
through to acceptance.
Capture, develop, and manage clear, structured, and traceable requirements at system and subsystem
level.
Support the planning and execution of Verification and Validation activities to demonstrate compliance
with requirements.
Review design outputs and verification evidence, identifying gaps and supporting delivery teams to resolve
them.
Work directly with client delivery teams, embedding into projects and aligning with client processes and
ways of working.
Contribute to technical discussions, workshops, and reviews, communicating clearly with both technical
and non-technical stakeholders.
Support the assessment and management of change, including understanding impacts to requirements
and verification activities.
Manage your own workload and priorities within a hybrid working environment, contributing positively to
the wider team.
