We are looking for experienced SDP Tester Analysts to join a large-scale digital transformation programme, supporting the Test Manager across the SDP Value Streams: Cloud Hosting, Enterprise Services, End-Users, IDAM, and LSSI.

As a Tester Analyst, you will take ownership of testing activities within your assigned value stream, working closely with Test Managers, Product Owners, developers, and wider technical stakeholders to ensure products meet business, technical, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and review business requirements, HLDs, LLDs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
  • Quickly develop knowledge of SDP products and provide operational and techno-functional support where required.
  • Design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute manual and automated functional and non-functional testing .
  • Conduct usability, performance, load, security, regression, and other testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain testing dashboards, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and test status.
  • Produce test reports at the end of each test execution.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
  • Participate in defect reviews, daily testing meetings, and technical walkthroughs.
  • Carry out follow-up and regression testing following defect resolution.
  • Escalate testing risks, issues, and dependencies where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a similar testing role, ideally within consulting or complex enterprise environments.
  • Mandatory security clearance and experience working with restricted information.
  • Strong background in IT, digital, technology, or software delivery environments.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium and BrowserStack.
  • Experience in performance, load, and security testing, using tools such as JMeter, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including integrating testing into automated delivery pipelines.
  • Experience with Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.
  • Experience using test and work management platforms such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps ways of working.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate testing workloads across teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and test metrics.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, Power BI, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Experience working within formal governance and demand-management frameworks.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise or digital transformation programmes.
  • Experience coordinating testing across multiple technology streams.
