Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Architect to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud architectures. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Define and implement integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Design API-led connectivity solutions following best practices and governance standards.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of integration solutions.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on MuleSoft and AWS best practices.
  • Review and approve technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MuleSoft with various systems (ERP, CRM, SaaS, legacy).

Governance & Standards

  • Establish and enforce API governance, security policies, and reusable assets.
  • Define CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments and manage environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave).
  • Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and implementing API-led connectivity.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
  • Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM) and cloud-native integration patterns.

Certifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect preferred.
  • Additional Skills
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years in integration architecture roles.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS systems (Salesforce, Oracle etc.).
  • Background in security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
