Lead Delivery Manager - Service: We are looking for a Service Lead Delivery Manager to join our wider Change and Transformation team on a permanent basis. This is a senior leadership role supporting the Service Value Stream, with accountability for delivering the Amazon Connect and App portfolios across our Service function. You’ll lead cross-functional squads to drive service transformation, embed strong governance and modern ways of working, and deliver measurable improvements in customer and operational outcomes within a regulated environment.Main Responsibilities as Lead Delivery Manager - Service:
- Lead day-to-day delivery across the Service value stream, with accountability for the Amazon Connect & App portfolios.
- Act as a trusted deputy to the Service Value Stream Sponsor, driving pace, progress and accountability.
- Lead and coach multiple cross-functional squads, aligning priorities and removing blockers.
- Manage escalations, risks and dependencies to ensure successful roadmap delivery.
- Own resource capacity planning and manage allocated people and non-people budgets.
- Partner with Tech Leads and Lead Product Owners to evolve and deliver the Service product roadmap.
- Champion Agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement across squads.
- Establish governance, financial tracking and benefits realisation processes with key stakeholders.
Skills and experience you need as Lead Delivery Manager - Service:
- Extensive delivery leadership experience within large-scale transformation programmes in a regulated industry.
- Proven people leadership across cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong experience operating within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivering commercial outcomes.
- Confidence operating in fast-paced, high-demand environments with competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
- Experience delivering change within financial services (insurance experience desirable).
- Exposure to technology replatforming or digital modernisation programmes.
