Pricing Analyst

Pricing Analyst - Motor: Ageas are looking to bring on board a dynamic and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team in London.

The Pricing Analyst will be directly involved with the business vision and will play a crucial role in supporting and contributing to the profitable development and performance of Ageas’ accounts. Through the use of predictive models and pricing techniques, the Pricing Analyst will be closely monitoring and analysing business performance and developing our pricing approaches. Main Responsibilities as Pricing Analyst - Motor:

  • Develop predictive and machine learning models. 
  • Run data for modelling, pricing and monitoring.
  • Delivery of up to date and accurate performance reports across all relevant products and channels.
  • Tracking the performance of new price initiatives against expected results.
  • Develop a balanced view of current pricing performance by combining MI, modelling results and company targets.
  • Maintenance of records to coordinate pricing decisions and implementation across teams, decision making bodies and implementation pathways.

Skills and experience you need as Pricing Analyst - Motor:

  • A good quantitative degree in e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics or MORSE.
  • Experienced in the use of a programming language (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python, R) preferred but not essential.
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
