As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the next generation of AI-driven solutions across our business. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end projects — from gathering requirements and defining the approach, through to building, deploying and measuring real-world impact. Working with mature AI products already used by hundreds of colleagues, you’ll operate at the forefront of our cloud and GenAI ecosystem, using cutting-edge tools to drive meaningful innovation. - Help shape the AI roadmap across use cases and technology.
- Work with stakeholders to understand processes and data, identifying high-value GenAI opportunities.
- Contribute to scalable, innovative AI delivery as part of the Data Science & AI team.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional squad — DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers and Infosec — to productionise AI services in AWS.
- You’ll be a key technical mentor within the team, helping to guide junior engineers and elevate our engineering standards.
Skills and experience you need as a Senior AI Engineer:
- Experience delivering AI into production, solving real commercial problems and measuring impact.
- A self-starter with a track record of taking research and models through to production to drive clear business and customer value.
- Skilled at balancing quick delivery with longer-term capability building.
- Able to communicate confidently and credibly across all levels of the business, from individual contributors to the C-suite.
- Able to work independently and efficiently to deliver projects on time, taking project briefs and refining them to strong results
