Sales Director / Commercial Lead — Consulting Growth

Our client is an established UK consultancy, founded over a decade ago, with deep expertise in business and digital transformation. They've built a strong reputation for quality delivery and impact across financial services, public sector and major commercial organisations, and now have an ambitious growth agenda — looking to scale commercially without losing what's made them credible in the market.

They're now looking to build a repeatable commercial engine to fuel the next phase of growth. You'll own your sales strategy, pipeline, marketing and events programme, and have real autonomy to shape how the business goes to market across private sector, public sector and financial services.

What you'll own:

  • Sales strategy and a multi-million-pound pipeline across the Public and Private Sector sectors
  • Bid strategy, commercial models, pricing and negotiation
  • Proposition development.
  • Marketing, thought leadership and a high-impact events/roundtable programme
  • Senior stakeholder relationships — CIOs, COOs, CDOs, Transformation Directors
  • Coaching consultants to think and spot opportunities commercially

What we're looking for:

  • A proven Sales Director / Commercial Lead from consulting, digital transformation or technology services
  • Experience selling operating model, ways-of-working or organisational transformation propositions
  • Track record of building and converting multi-million-pound pipelines across multiple sectors
  • A strong personal network of senior decision-makers
  • Comfortable running marketing and events that generate real commercial outcomes,
